Single Unit Oven-Like Ballast
The Optilight ballast capsule has a unique three compartment chamber.
The center cavity houses the core coil. Heat transfer is conducted to the radiated fins allowing maximum efficiency and cooling.
The two outer chambers contain the ignitor and capacitor and protect them from the heat generating coil.
A better ballast capsule draws heat off the coil. Separate compartments mean a longer life for the
components. They are not degraded by the heat from
the coil.
The Optilight ballast capsule also features:
- Heavy duty, die-cast aluminum housing
- One ballast housing that accommodates 12, 16, 21, 22, and 25 inch reflectors and a 150 to 400 watt lamp
- Wiring compartment suitable for 75 C conductors
